Thoughtfully designed by the artist to raise awareness for the numerous species at risk across the world's largest freshwater archipelago; Georgian Bay. 
 
This species of Skink are black with five creamy or yellowish stripes running from the head down the back, and have a bright blue tail. 
 
Skinks are vulnerable to changes in their local habitats with removal of woody debris or rocks being integral to their habitat and reproduction.
